By Manuel Perez: Former 4 division world champion Adrien “The Problem” Broner is making his prediction known about this Saturday’s fight between Saul Canelo Alvarez and middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin, and he doesn’t see it ending well for the Kazakhstan star. Broner says Golovkin will be knocked out. We at Boxing News Results can certainly agree with that.
“Canelo,” said Broner when asked by TMZ.com who he’s picking for the Canelo vs. GGG fight this Saturday night. ”Canelo is going to stop him.”
There you have it. Canelo beats Golovkin and knocks him out.
What a shame it would be if GGG gets knocked out for the first time in his career. I can’t say I’ll be surprised. he’s been padding his record for the last 11 years with gawd awful opposition. This is what happens when you match a record-padder like Golovkin with the real thing in Canelo.
Broner wouldn’t mind fighting Conor McGregor in a boxing match if he’s up for it. All good things must end.
“He shouldn’t box no more,” said Broner about Conor McGregor. “He made a [expletive] load of money. Go back to the UFC and win. You’ve got to understand that Floyd is another Floyd. So if he fights anybody else, he’s going to fight a young lion. We’re going to make an example out of his [expletive]. I think he should just run. Go have fun,” said Broner. ”If he wants this work, I’m going to [expletive] him up. But other than that, I want him to stay away from this [expletive].”
“I agree, but we have a better chance of beating them in MMA, because we fight better than them,” said Broner when told that former UFC star Chuck Liddell had said that boxers should stay in boxing and not fight in MMA.
Broner just lost his last fight to Mexican star Mikey Garcia on July 29. It won’t be long before Broner’s career is gone belly-up if it already hasn’t.
