In a surprising move, Tyson Fury has turned up for Matchroom Sport’s show in Monaco. Matchoom Sport boss Eddie Hearn has a card taking place this Saturday night headlined by light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol vs. Trent Broadhurst. Also on the card is Dereck Chisora, Scott Quigg and Jamie McDonnell.
The writing is on the wall though, as Hearn said he wants to work with Fury and help him get his boxing incense back with the BBB of C and UK Anti-Doping agency. Hearn also promotes IBF/WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, who Fury is VERY interested in fighting in 2018.
I don’t think Fury went to Monaco just to see Chisora. That’s a long travel just to see fringe contender Chisora fight for the EBU heavyweight title.
