BetStars odds: Tyson Fury 1/100 favourite for comeback victory
BetStars Director of Trading Ian Marmion said: “After a near three year hiatus, Tyson Fury returns to the ring on Saturday night at the Manchester Arena to face little known Albanian cruiserweight Sefer ‘The Real Deal’ Seferi. From a bout betting perspective, it seems Fury only has to turn up on Saturday night to win the fight and his extremely prohibitive odds of 1/100 reflect this.
“Looking at both fighters’ records, the gulf in class between the two is obviously apparent and the fact that Seferi’s only ever defeat came when he stepped out of cruiserweight and up to heavyweight late last year at a much lower level leaves the impression he could have a long night on his hands on Saturday.
“There has been a lot of water under the bridge since Fury defeated Wladimir Klitschko at the end of 2015 to become unified world heavyweight champion. Fury has since relinquished all of his belts and has faced numerous personal issues, however he has looked in tremendous shape in the last few months in the lead up to this, shedding over seven stone in the interim.
“It is impossible to know what ability Fury still retains at this level, and using the Klitschko fight as a marker there is a case to be made for Seferi getting this fight to the judges for a decision after 10 rounds if it plays out the same way. Fury may just want to get Seferi out of there as quickly as possible and make it is as stylish a comeback as is possible and that’s why this is one for minimum stakes.
“It should be a relatively straight forward night for Fury and only the brave would be backing against him at 20/1. However, he may just struggle to get Seferi out in 10 rounds and the judges may be called upon to split them. Tyson Fury to win by decision or technical decision is our recommended bet and is available at 5/1.”

Sefer Seferi – 20/1
Draw – 33/1
